Denominations and Series of Currency is subject to availability/ requirement at our end and acceptance of same based on extant regulations.

The collecting desk has to be presented with Original identity papers (Omani Resident ID or Passport as applicable) based on regulations of Central Bank of Oman.

You will have to declare the purpose of currency exchange transaction, supporting documents and source if required as per local regulations at the collecting desk.

Any disputes/ grievances arising out of the Currency Exchange Transaction shall be settled exclusively by arbitration or mediation administered by Oman Courts.

Please verify the currency and rates while conducting the transaction as GMEC will not be responsible loss due to buy back/ refund. Refund / buyback of foreign currency will be initiated only at our prevailing buying rate or purchase rate whichever is lower. The loss, if any, pertaining to the refund or buy-back will have to be borne by the customer
